Lithospermum Erythrorhizon Root Extract Description

In cosmetics, research finds this root extract improves skin’s barrier by reducing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and soothing. It also effectively reduces oxidative stress, a key cause of visible signs of aging. In addition, one study found it was effective at shielding skin from UVB-induced photoaging, making it an intriguing ingredient to follow when it comes to skin care benefits.
